Open House London Skyline Chess

This year Open House have again teamed up with Skyline Chess and Printing Portal to produce an exclusive chess set depicting iconic buildings taking part in Open House London.

The new set includes Leadenhall Building, home to Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, as well as 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin), Tower 42, ArcelorMittal Orbit, City Hall, and the John Soane Museum.

Hand-carved in resin, the chess set is based on an original Staunton set, designed by architect Nathan Cook in 1849, which is based on elements taken from neoclassical architecture.

You can now bid on the set, the proceeds of which will go towards ensuring Open House London will remain free next year and in future years.
