Photography competition with Architects' Journal and The Photographers' Gallery
Open-City teamed up with The Photographers' Gallery and The Architects' Journal to invite submissions that draw upon our theme, 'Celebrating architecture, people and place.' There were two categories: general enthusiasts and professional photographers.
Reviewing the entries were be AJ's Art Editor Brad Yendle, The Photographers' Gallery Director, Brett Rogers, and architectural photographers Dennis Gilbert and Grant Smith.
The overall winner and first runner-up both received LA Sardina "Govnor" London Edition cameras courtesy of Lomography. See the winning images here.
Archi-bus tour with Arriva London Heritage Fleet
This year, we worked with Arriva London Heritage Fleet to bring you a bus tour with a difference - an architectural whirlwind tour by historic Routemaster bus with commentary by Royal College of Art tutor and bus driver Joe Kerr.

The Bloomsbury Hotel Competition
This magnificent neo-Georgian Grade II listed building lies in the heart of bustling Bloomsbury, itself steeped in literary and architectural history. We gave the chance to win a stay over the Open House Weekend, the perfect base from which to explore Open House London.
