Open House and Maggie's London Night Hike

London Night Hike 2010: Friday 17th September

Bigger and better than ever before, why not rally together friends, family and colleagues to join the London Night Hike in 2010?

2000 people took to the streets of late night London to support Maggie’s in September 2009 by walking a 20 mile route through the capital and saw fantastic architecture by night.
Walkers were treated to a unique night-time insight into City Hall, Channel 4, the Royal Geographical Society, Horse Guards, Battersea Power Station and Fulham Palace.

An astounding £500,000 was raised, with money still coming in, to support Maggie's' existing network of centres across Scotland and the centre here in London.

The sixth annual Maggie’s and Open House London Night Hike will take place on Friday 17th September 2010. To join 2000 people in support of Maggie’s you can register online

Why?
Every year more than 5,300 people in London are diagnosed with cancer. Statistics show that one in every three people in the UK will be affected by cancer at some point in their lifetime.
Taking part in the London Night Hike is a fantastic way to raise funds to support Maggie's newest centre here in London, as well as plans to extend their network of supportthroughout the UK over the next few years. Our partnership with Maggie's promotes the importance of the built environment on our well being.
